Rachel Burleson begins her second season as a graduate assistant coach. Holding a B.S. in exercise and sports with a minor in communications from Tarleton (Texas) State University in 2003, Burleson most recently was an assistant coach at Kenyon (Ohio) College for the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

While at Kenyon, Burleson was in charge of recruiting, field maintenance, team travel, scheduling and player development. She also assisted with the KC volleyball program for one season.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Burleson was a member of the East Texas Baptist University softball program before transferring to Tarleton State. She was mentioned on the Dean's List at both institutions.
